"Scandal" star Tony Goldwyn dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday night and talked about his experience at the White House Correspdonts' Dinner. A political junkie who just so happens to play President Fitz on TV, Goldwyn was star-struck at the event.
What he didn’t expect was that the politicians would be starstruck ... at him.
“All they wanted to talk about was ‘Scandal.’ Every party I went to, I got pinned in the corner by people, you know, who, like, wage wars and stuff. A number of people came up to me and they said, you know, don’t tell anyone I said this, but it’s actually not that different.”
"Really?" Kimmel asked incredulously. "That's what I said!" Goldwyn replied.
