No more unsolved mysteries on Lifetime?

I hope not. I think they air it sporadically. For a while it was pretty consistent with a back-to-back marathon on Wednesdays, I think it was. Then it was gone in favor of Lifetime's new programming (which looks awful, by the way!)

These "Lifetime has stopped airing UM" posts come up all the time. For the record, UM has yet to permanently pull the plug on UM, more than 20 years after they first started airing it. But yeah, it's like what PrettyinPink said, networks programming is all over the place.

At this point, they basically use it as a filler. They throw a few episodes on when there's nothing else on. I keep my DVR set to record any and all airings of it, and about once a week I get 2-3 episodes recorded that I get to watch 1-2 segments at a time while I'm falling asleep at night (although I have to watch it with my headphones on because it creeps my wife out to have UM on while she's asleep).

Not really. There have been several marathons lately. Last week, I think it was, there were no marathons but a total of 12-13 episodes scattered here and there.

I miss the late night UM airings as well. Lifetime started the late night airings when I was about 12 or 13, and I almost always stayed up to watch on the weekends. I lived in a big old house growing up, and making my way from the lowest level to my bedroom up two floors in near dark after UM always gave me chills. I love that feeling though.

Well my DVR hasn't captured a recording in 9 days, not even 1 episode so if its gonna be a 1-2 episodes a month gig then its panic time for Me. I'm not buying into this sporadic bs.

If it had been 9 days then your DVR missed some. Mine recorded two episodes on 6/24. Mine also recorded some on 6/21 which would be the 9 day mark before your post. I don't know why your DVR would have missed the 24th, but I would check the settings for the recording.

At that time when they would air UM at night, I had a TV in my bedroom...a big ol' screen lol, and after the episode of UM was over, I was always terrified to go to the bathroom for fear of looking in the mirror and seeing something or someone behind me like Edward Harold Bell who snuck up on that one lady while she was brushing her hair and he just came up and attacked her in broad daylight!! Come to think of it, the first time I saw that case on UM was at night...I didn't sleep well that night AT ALL because it took place in Texas!! :eek: :eek: :eek:

What channel is it coming on? TV Guide doesn't have it showing within the next 14 days. Also, does anyone know if there's a chance that YouTube will allow segments to be posted again? Sorry if this has already been asked. I'm new and I didn't see any other recent threads where I could ask this. Thanks!

I'm watching it now. I was shocked to see it airing on Lifetime again. Sad it's not the Robert Stack episodes.

you guys are lucky, i have mine set to record all u.s mysteries, but it has not recoreded in weeks. i even did a search, which goes two weeks out, it doesn't even have the show listed :(

heh. i kind of found this by accident. And I am not sure if this counts as 'posting unsolved mysteries episodes'
but i found a french tv show exactly like unsovled mysteries. except it has its own theme music, which is basically a faster version of the english version. also it has its own graphics.

its called les enquetes impossibles

the funny thing is youtube has not taking it down, which they have done for every other unsovled mysteries episode out there. so it must be not own by the same production company

they do the same stories too, at least some. I seen one with the wackers. they even used the same pieces from the unsolved mysteries episodes becasue the actors are speaking English :p

It noticed on my dvr that it is set to record UM on Sunday morning for the next two weeks (at least) at 9:00 am central time! So it doesn't look like Lifetime is completely done.:)

It's coproduced by Co$grove so they can pull them down at any time. However I can't really get into them because I don't want to hear French..especially talking over the English.

Impossible Investigations is a French television show adapted from a U.S. format is never elucidated interesting disappearances and unexplained phenomena, by Pierre Bellemare and broadcast from 4 September 2004 to 24 June 2006 every Saturday at 19:20 on RTL9.

The program is regularly rebroadcast on AB3, NT1 and RTL9.

New episodes were broadcast on NT1 since September 1, 2008 in a new format always presented (but also narrated) by Pierre Bellemare. Some are narrated by actor specialized in dubbing Benedict Allemane.

The episodes still being produced and brought to France by AB posted on NT1 in 2011 and 2012 are adapted from the American show Forensic Files that you can watch on cable channel TruTV (formerly CourtTV) since 1996. There are to date more than 400 30-minute episodes of this series.

In the early years, the stories in this issue were based on surveys and various facts and strange unexplained phenomena that are most often held in the United States or Australia. Pierre Bellemare put his storytelling talent in the service of these strange stories in order to provide suspense and mystery.

Originally Surveys Impossibles, the story was illustrated by reconstructions from the American original format Unsolved Mysteries (1987-2002) by Robert Stack (over 553 episodes). Unsolved Mysteries had already been adapted in France under the title Mysteries on TF1 in 1992. A Quebec version of Unsolved Mysteries was presented Télévision Quatre Saisons in the early 1990s under the name mysteries Records and was moderated by Jean Coutu.

Today, the episodes are adapted from the American show Forensic Files.

there is going to be a marathon tomorrow, on lifetime starting at 5pm. According to my tv guide there will be 11 episodes airing friday saturday and sunday. (combined)

Lifetime Movie Network is also scheduled to air an episode of American Justice tonight at 11 Eastern time, especially wild since I've never known Lifetime to air AJ.

Can anyone give me a good reason why Lifetime's online schedule for TV only shows a few things that are on during the day? NBC starting doing soon this and I can't figure it out. Do they not want us to know what it is on and you know, try to watch it?

you should seriously contact them and ask them. unless anyone here has done so already, or works for them, we can only speculate.
