The "Bewitched" House Still Stands, But Looks Slightly Different

What has become of 1164 Morning Glory Circle?

I'm happy to report that it still stands. It's on a lot at the Warner Brothers Ranch, near the fountain from "Friends" and neighboring a house that appeared in one of the Lethal Weapon movies. (Let's pause for a moment and imagine what the show would be like with those neighbors, instead of the Kravitz family.)

Unfortunately, there have been a few changes, as they've most likely used the home for other productions. It no longer looks like a quaint storybook-inspired abode, but more like a suburban Cape Cod.

Luckily, the general shape still stands. And, when you get down to it, they only changed the color scheme and extended the siding.

To the left of the Stephens home (and separated by that wooden privacy fence) is 192 Marshall Road in Hydsberg, New York, the home of George, Dorothy and Harold Baxter--and "Hazel." In the title sequence in a number of episodes during "Hazel's" third season, the Baxters are going out for a drive in their '64 Ford Galaxie convertible, and just as the credits fade, you can see the Stephens home as they drive out.

(Wonder if that's why George and Dorothy moved to the Middle East in the '65-'66 season of "Hazel"?)

Amazing.

The interior of the Stephen's home was used in an episode of Ghost Story a year or two after Bewitched ended it's run.

The house is almost regularly seen today on the show The Middle on ABC. It's not the original house, as the original was blown up on an episode of Home Improvement.
