I thought it was great especially at the end when everybody was complimenting each other and they all stood up and took a bow.

The end was definitely the best. I loved that part. I almost wish there were more goof-ups though, because that's what we were waiting for. But I was impressed with how they held it together for the most part. It was awesome. :)

Yeah, I know they rehearsed it at least once. If not more. But that just proves how great they are, that they can nail it under pressure. Love them for that! :heart:

Yeah, she did. And then she forgot a line, and Georgia reminded her of it. Loved that. I think there were some parts where Jane almost goofed, but she held it together.

I hope after this show ends this series, the executive producer/writer of the show may need to keep on watching this movie "Picture This!" in order to reboot her favorite past short-lived sitcom into a favorite present long-lived sitcom!

The live one was "Stayin' Alive", right? I didn't realize until now that the title was partly a pun on it BEING live.

In a couple of threads that have mentioned it, no one has mentioned Alex Trebek's appearance. (I just started watching Jeopardy more regularly.) But I thought the WAY they used Trebek was weird...all that "breaking the fourth wall"...it was like nobody was really acting like they were in a serious situation.

Yes, I know it's a sitcom, but, on, for example, Golden Girls (which I know everyone compares HIC to), the actors are always serious about their acting. If there's a dangerous situation, we feel like the characters believe they're in danger. If there's a breakup, or confusion about a relationship, or a fight with a son or daughter...it's funny to us, but we believe the characters care about what's happening. That's not how it felt to me in "Stayin' Alive," and even though I loved watching Alex Trebek it was like he was there to remind us it WAS only a show. The "there are women here in jeopardy" line would actually have been funnier if he hadn't made it SO obviously an inside joke. A more subtle "plug" is often funnier...like in Toy Story where Buzz moves a toolbox and it says "Binford Tools."

I'm reminded of a Golden Girls episode where Blanche thinks Alex Trebek is hot - I was actually kind of surprised none of the HIC ladies said anything about that, especially after he rescued them. On the contrary, they insulted him by saying Steve Harvey was the greatest game show host!
