Swimfan85 02-20-2002, 10:17 AM yes we recycle, we have three containers under our sink for the different catogories and we recycle and then throw out things that cant be recycled Dude111 03-20-2023, 02:38 AM We put stuff in a different bin but lately they havent been seperating it... They put in the same bin in thier truck so why bother??? ponytail 03-20-2023, 06:00 AM We have 2 bins, one for trash the other for recycling. I take plastic bags to the grocery store. I normally use canvass bags when shopping. I drink out of a stainless-steel bottle. Caroline13 03-20-2023, 02:39 PM I recycle as best I can, and our state as a whole was doing great before covid struck, now it's plastic bags galore. and prior it was cloth bags and paper bags for a dime, if one forgot the cloth bags...... I separate garbage and recycle things....and rinse out foods from containers. biffbronson 03-20-2023, 02:50 PM As Melissa Joan Hart once said, "Anyone who doesn't recycle should have to live next to a landfill." I recycle everything the company accepts -- including small scraps. Living next to a school, I pick up recyclables the students have tossed on the sidewalks and street at least 5 nights a week, they go into my bin. There was one week I picked up 8 water bottles and 5 cans, not to mention papers. I'm the wee hours recycler, the periods of the year when classes are in session. :) |
