This laundromat I go to, this one lady that works there, she is about 70 years old. She started there almost a year ago. Everytime I go in there, she is always sweeping, cleaning machines, and cleaning glass windows. She has a slim figure also (probably from all that hard work). She is always working hard and seems so nice. The lady that was there before she started, she was about 43 years old. She didnt do nothing when she was there. When there was nothing to do, thats what she would be doing. Now where I work, we have a lady thats about 71 years old. She has been a cook there for 40 years. She is always working hard and always doing something. Now this other girl thats a cook, she is about 35. When there is nothing to do, thats what she does-nothing! Whats up with this? It seems to me (most of the time) that the older generation works harder than the younger one. My grandparents for instance- my grandfather worked 2 jobs to support his 5 kids and his wife (grandma). They had their own garden and always did work around the house. I am 26 years old- I should be supporting my generation- but I just admire the way the older generation works.
