I would like to pay tribute to a golden girl of British athletics,sprinter Donna Hartley-Wass who has died suddenly at the age of 58. She won a bronze medal in the relay at the Moscow Olympics of 1980 in an era when it's now known many of the Eastern bloc athletes cheated through performance-enhancing substances.Tragically whether this had an effect on Donna's subconscious or not there was a suspicion after her athletic career that she dabbled in just such substances whilst pursuing a bodybuilding career.
