View Full Version : Those crazy Eastland girls of ours.
RainMan 02-18-2002, 10:21 AM What was one of the memorable things that the Eastland girls did that got them in trouble? Or those sneaky things those girls did.
One of my memorable moments was on the Pilot to The Facts of Life (But was still Diff'rent Strokes). Blair Warner was smoking. She never smoked in any other episode. They should of made an episode about her smoking addiction...well, she could of had one.

vienna waits 02-18-2002, 10:24 AM Probably getting caught in a bar is the most memorable to me because if that hadnt happened then they wouldnt have lived with Mrs. Garrett above the kitchen.
Warm & Fuzzy 02-18-2002, 11:38 AM Does The Facts of Life Reunion count?
:D
Kay Scarpetta 02-18-2002, 03:16 PM Blair getting in a car accident. I know that didn't ger her in trouble but I will NEVER forget her in that hospital for as long as I live.
*shudders* eek :crying:
RainMan 02-18-2002, 05:13 PM I know and I saw that episode. It is one of those episodes to watch at night...like at 1 or 2AM. Man that episode made me cry when Blair looked into the mirror and threw it at the wall. I want to see that episode again.
Another time that they got in trouble that was a good memory was when they got in trouble with the computer. That Pete from Pete's deli was a phony country guy. It was funny when Mrs. Garret made fun of his cooking.
WE ALL KNOW! MRS. GARRET'S COOKING IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!

I don't remember the specifics, but the episode where Blair and Jo are both at college, and Jo can't afford to stay in her dorm so she decides to sleep on Blair's floor in her dorm room. Then they get discovered, and almost get expelled from college.

That's true, because that was a real turning point - Jo came, the girls were forced to room together. It basically shaped the rest of the series.
MrsGarrettRocksMySocks 02-18-2002, 09:24 PM I dunno, I think one of my MOST MEMORABLE moments is when Mrs. G left.......I saw it on USA....but I'll never forget the look on her face!:(:(:(:(:(:((

Classic FOL Fanatic 01-28-2003, 04:51 PM Is the car wreck episode you guys are talking about Less Than Perfect? I still haven't seen that episode, I really want to see it. Anyways, I really liked The New Girl also, when they got caught in the bar and had to live together and work in the kitchen. I agree with JMPolniaczek15, I think it does shape the rest of the series.
Oh, (tear)memories.
Impressions 01-28-2003, 05:49 PM Four of the most most memorable episodes were when Jo writes a story to get revenge on her journalism teacher, and another one was when Natalie wrote an article on abortion, until she was asked to reveal her source. I also like the paint scence which made a disaster, then when Mrs. Garrett came in they were in deep trouble. I think "Dope" was a very serious issue for the girls, when Blair and Sue Ann attend another dorm which smoke, then Sue Ann follows along and starts to smoke.
