That's the episode I always point out when people try to say Mayfield is based in the midwest.

There were various clues throughout the run of the series which pointed to various parts of the country. Some clues didn'r mesh with others. The producers did this on purpose because they didn't want anyone to pinpoint a location for Mayfeild. They wanted viewers in every part of the country to be able to recognize something of their own home town in Mayfield.

Aunt Martha made a comment to June in one episode, to the effect that June has such an Eastern house so far out west, referring to the beautiful new house. I pretend Mayfield is in Oregon.
