Long finished television sitcom Friends continues to impress and amuse audiences with its unbelievable ensemble cast, hilarious moments, and borderline insane characters. The show is currently syndicated on Nick@Nite and TBS, in the US (Comedy Central in the UK) and it proves to be as durable today as it was during its ten year run from 1994 to 2004.

The show mainly focused on obsessive compulsive Monica Geller and her friends: quirky yet beautiful Phoebe Buffay, formerly rich and snobby Rachel Green, awkward and misunderstood Chandler Bing, geeky but caring Ross Geller, and attractive yet misinformed Joey Tribbiani. Although these characters were the main attraction, there were certain guest stars that made a very heavy impact on the show.

I have to put Danny Devito as number 1. That was laugh out funny especially was he thrusts his pelvis. Alec Baldwin was good as well. I thought Jon Lovitz was funny on there as well when he played the stoned guy and then as Rachel's date in the second to last season.

When a show becomes a certain level of popular, it no longer needs to lure big names to appear on-screen as guest stars. As soon as a show can help the stars shine brighter, they’ll show up in droves. Friends experienced this kind of bonus cast-bumping privilege not long after launching and the stars kept coming right up until the series ended. Excluding Paul Rudd as Mike Hannigan and Tom Selleck as the older Monica-dating Richard (their characters were on the show for more than just a few episodes, so were more than just bit-part guest stars), there were a slew of famous actors who took their turn appearing on the show.
