Their was always something about Ed that makes me understand he was really smarter then people thought he was in the film, it makes me wonder if he planned the trouble him and dexter got into during multiple parts in the movie on purpose, everything the speech ed gave about the justice system made perfect since, he thought of something smart that dexter could never think of at the end of the movie dexter said you thought of all that and ed said yeah i am not stupid lol.
