Hello folks, Thx here and this looked like a good thread for a first post. :)

The Likely Lads/Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads?
To The Manor Born
Only When I Laugh (Figgis!)

On The Buses
Open All Hours
Jeeves And Wooster
And lots of others, but those are the top.
Then, I am becoming more and more a fan of classic TV, especially since I switched from cable to Roku. (Right now I'm watching "Follow That Man" with Ralph Bellamy.)
I grew up in the 1960s and 70s, a product of the age of television I admit.
Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, Bonanza, The Fugitive, Adam-12, It Takes A Thief, Kojak, Cannon, Columbo, McCloud, The Andy Griffith Show, Lou Grant, Trapper John M.D., My Three Sons, The Outer Limits, Daktari, Lassie, Daniel Boone, Flipper, Gentle Ben, F-Troop, Get Smart, Gilligan's Island, The Real McCoys, LHOTP, The Waltons, Kung-Fu, Combat, 12 O'clock High, Naked City, Mutual Of Omaha, Hazel, The Patty Duke Show, Father Know's Best, The Donna Reed Show, Dobie Gillis, Zorro, Disney, Black Sheep Squadron, The Wild Wild World Of Animals, Branded, Alfred Hitchcock, One Step Beyond, Then Came Bronson, I Spy, Hawaii 5-0, Sanford and Son, My Mother The Car, The Good Guys, It's About Time, Northern Exposure, The Wonder Years, The Rat Patrol, SNL, Fridays, Family Affair, The Time Tunnel, Land Of The Giants, The Virginian, The Jeffersons, The High Chapparal, Hot-L Baltimore, Happy Days, Too Close For Comfort, WKRP, The A-Team, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers ITTFC, Wagon Train, Death Valley Days, Gomer Pyle, Mayberry RFD, Good Times, Apple's Way, Family Ties, The Rockford Files, Maverick, Rawhide, Mr. Ed, The Love Boat, Lancer, Nanny And The Professor, The Flying Nun, Art Linkletter, The 21st Century, Candid Camera, The Jack LaLane Show, The Carol Burnett Show, The Red Skelton Show, I love Lucy etc, Almost Live, The Shield, Breaking Bad, The Sopranos and Dark Shadows...
and on and on and on...
(Friday and Saturday Nights (after the sitcoms like The Odd Couple) were devoted to the monster movies.
Saturday morning cartoons included Frankenstein Jr, Jonny Quest, The Beatles cartoon show, Bugs Bunny/Roadrunner, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, Rocky and Bullwinkle, Marvel superheros, Sinbad The Saqilor, Beanie and Cecile, The Saturday Afternoon Children's Film Festival with Kukla, Fran and Ollie, Make A Wish, Wonderama, Gigantor, Atom Ant, Linus The Lionhearted, The Amazing Three, Astroboy, 8th Man, The Herculoids, The Thunderbirds and The Super Six... (etc, etc, etc...)
Also, lots of PBS and a healthy dose of reality shows like Kitchen Nightmares, Bar Rescue, Deadliest Catch, World's Worst Tenants and lots of others.
But it is fun discovering all kinds of series that were before my time or that I just plain missed like "The Life Of Riley 53"
Old favorites are The Mary Tyler Moore Show (I could and probably will watch it forever...) and also The Bob Newhart Show made a great Saturday Night follow-up to The Mary Tyler Moore Show, I really miss that era!
Taxi, Cheers, Frasier... huge James Burrows fan!
(Oh, and discovering (very late I know) Seinfeld.)
I might add that for the last 30 years or so I have been a great devotee of classic film... Film Noir or any crime drama especially, but I enjoy all the classic categories including musicals.
Well, nice to be here and I'm also looking forward to reading your reviews on some of the sitcoms I have missed when I was stuck with cable.
Thx :)
