What are some of your favorite roles for the Family Ties cast members? Toss out your favorites.
I think Michael J. Fox was terrific, of course, in the Back to the Future series. I liked him in Bright Lights, Big City as well, although, if my memory serves me correctly, it did a crash and burn at the box office--I could be wrong there.
I also enjoyed Meredith Baxter in the made-for-TV movie, The Betty Broderick story--the true story of the woman scorned who murdered her lawyer husband and his new wife. It runs on Lifetime often, and it just sucks me in every time. Her real talent lies in dramatic roles in my opinion.
I've always loved Michael Gross in the "Tremors" movies. His gun crazy survivalist character in those flicks is a great contrast to Steven Keaton.
Brian Bonsall went on the play Worf's son Alexander for a number of years on Star Trek - The Next Generation. He was a cute Klingon.

Michael was definitely GREAT in B2TF. He did a great voice for the dog in "Homeward Bound".
I haven't seen the other characters in anything

I never really did watch Spin City that much, but I remember MJF on there, and I did see some of the episode where he left the show, it was very sad.
I missed Michael Gross on Law & Order, and I wanted to see it badly too! :(

I remeber Meredith Baxter in the TV series Family. Excellent series. I wholeheartedly agree with JanLady617 that her best talent lies in dramatic roles. She was excellent in that series even though she was a supporting actress in that series. If you ever watch Family with episodes featuring her the performance she puts out were powerful.

Like the second episode shown on N@N featured her, when her aunt was getting alztimers. (sp?) She did a wonderful job!
