I didn't get a cell phone until I started driving, I had one of those pay as you go cheapo phones for a while TVFactFan 05-27-2013, 08:51 PM I didn't get a cell phone until I started driving, I had one of those pay as you go cheapo phones for a while got my first cell phone in 2010 PZelda 05-28-2013, 11:22 AM That looks like the Curve models Blackberry was making before -- but the trackpad dealy was a trackball. I had the Curve 8330 in pink many moons ago (see pic below). Good phone... But I got to calling it the Crapberry, lol. http://chismetime.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/pink-blackberry-curve-8330-on-verizon.jpg It didn't totally suck, but it wasn't my top fave phone either. I owned that phone the longest -- I'm coming up on 7 years of phone ownership and I had that Curve for almost 2 full years (mid-2008 to mid-2010). My suggestion to you is, you'll probably want a phone with a more full-screen screen than that, but yet have a slide-out keyboard (if you're not ready for a phone with a virtual keyboard) because a screen at that size will probably just drive you crazy, lol. I am sure Blackberry makes a phone that would meet that criteria. I had the iPhone 4 (LOVED it, definitely my top fave phone!) and just recently upgraded to the iPhone 5 last week and I LOVE my 5. I don't know what I did before the iPhone, lol. But I realize - different strokes for different folks! Blackberry is good stuff - I did the Android thing in between Blackberry and iPhone and I HATED Android. So, you should definitely go for it! |
