The 2012-13 TV season officially ended Wed. and the final ratings show that NCIS is the #1 most watched show in the US, followed closely by NFL football and its own spinoff series NCIS LA in 4th place. The Big Bang Theory is the #1 sitcom checking in at #3 overall in total viewers and #2 in the 18-49 age group behind football. The top sitcoms break down this way:

During the 2012-13 season, NCIS became the first scripted broadcast TV show in 8 years (since CSI in 2003-04) to take first place among total viewers.

I don't like NCIS at all, but I am sort of really glad this happened.
