(Alice is cleaning up in the Kramden kitchen.)

Ed (from upstairs, yells): "HEY RALPH, PLEASE DON'T JUMP ON THE FLOOR. YOU'LL KNOCK MY TV SET OVER."

Ralph (from upstairs, yells): "I CAN'T HELP IT NORTON! THE RANGERS WON IN OT!"

(Alice rolls her eyes.)

Ralph (from upstairs, yells): "SEE YA TOMORROW NORTON!"

(Ralph heads home.)

Ralph: "Boy Alice, the Rangers came back."

Alice: "Yeah Ralph, If I was upstairs with you, I would feel the tremors from you jumping and down."

Ralph: "Ooooooh, you are a regular riot Alice. You are not going to end my happiness. On Saturday afternoon, I am going to watch the Rangers game. There is nothing in this whole world that will steam me now."

Alice: "Ralph, we have to take my Aunt Ether out to dinner."

Ralph: "There you are. I am not steamed. I am not excited. I am just as happy as when I walked in and do you know why?" (yells): "BECAUSE I AM NOT SEEING YOUR AUNT ETHEL ON SATURDAY. THAT'S WHY."

Alice: "But Ralph, I promised her. I made the non-refundable reservations."

Ralph (yells): "I DON'T CARE. I AM WATCHING THE RANGERS. YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR MY SEAT THERE WHEN I AM NOT THERE."

Alice (yells): "RALPH KRAMDEN, I WOULD NEVER DO THIS TO YOU."

Ralph (yells): "SURE, YOU DON'T HATE MY FAMILY. I HATE MEMBERS OF YOUR FAMILY. THEY ARE BUUUUUMS."

Alice (yells): "RALPH, HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?"

Ralph (yells): "BECAUSE I CAN."

McGarrity (from upstairs, yells): "HEY KRAMDEN, FROM THE LOOKS OF THINGS, YOU WON'T SEE YOUR RANGERS ON SATURDAY. THAT'S TOO BAD. HA HA HA HA!"

(Ralph goes to the window and sticks his head out.)

Ralph (yells): "MCGARRITY, I OUGHT TO..."

(Ralph gets a facefull of water. Alice laughs.)

Ralph (yells): "GRRRRRRR! I AM TELLING YOU ALICE! I AM WATCHING THE RANGERS. GRRRRRRRR!"

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. The Miami Beach audiences are the BEST! GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
