View Full Version : Beautiful, inspiring, heartbreaking... Janice 05-23-2013, 02:46 AM It's worth the time. Take my word for it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NjKgV65fpo&feature=player_embedded Family Ties Forever! 05-23-2013, 03:34 AM Thanks for sharing Janice. Such a sad story. That's true, it's inspiring. Cancer is a terrible thing. To get cancer so young must be extra hard. Zach had Osteosarcoma, the same kind as my brother. If only they could find a cure for all cancers. Janice 05-23-2013, 03:42 AM Jenny, I thought that cancer sounded familiar. I thought it was a little different. I'm sorry if I scared you. Cancer is just awful. Seems so many people have it. Zach passed away three days ago. I think he had a more aggressive form. :( Here's his song, Clouds. It's just so pretty. The kind of song that plays over and over in your head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDC97j6lfyc Family Ties Forever! 05-23-2013, 04:43 AM Jenny, I thought that cancer sounded familiar. The kind of song that plays over and over in your head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDC97j6lfyc I'm sorry to hear that Zach passed away. :( That's nice that he had a caringbridge page. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. That's a nice song. :) I'm sorry I didn't mean to make this about my brother. The location that Zach had his cancer is somewhat different as it was in his pelvis and hip. It's terible that Zach's cancer traveled to both his lungs. It does sound like it was more aggressive than my brother's. My brother's cancer was in his left leg and traveled to his right lung. Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) usually affects children and teens. It's rare, but inot impossible for those who are older to get this kind of cancer. Unfortunately bone cancer can be very agressive and has only a 30% survival rate within five years of diagnosis. My brother was first diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in June 2011 at age 34. Dude111 01-05-2025, 02:28 PM Its very sad he passed away...... Thanks to Janice for the video and song :( |
