It looks like "Growing Pains" has now moved to the Warner Archive MOD program, but hey- at least it's still getting released to DVD!
Check out the cover art and more details at the link below.

USA customers can order this from Warner Archive for $30 right here- http://www.wbshop.com/product/code/1000399286.do?AID=10811526&PID=3821628&ref=CJP

(For customers in other parts of the world, don't worry- the Warner Archive MOD DVD releases eventually get released through Amazon.com too and it can be ordered all over the world from there.)

Already got my copy ordered! I wish Warner Archive would hurry up and make Mama's Family, The Drew Carey Show, Chico and the Man, Murphy Brown, Welcome Back, Kotter, Step By Step, and Perfect Strangers MOD titles.

I just got the email notice from the TV shows on dvd site! I've never bought a made on demand set before, never bought from the Warner site, and $30 is about double what I'm usually willing to spend on a season set these days. All that said, I'm totally going to buy it.

I've ordered the first 3 seasons of "Alice" and season 1 of "Snorks" from wbshop.com and I've always had great service. The DVDs are great quality and shipping is pretty fast to be free.

If WB aren't going to release a lot of their titles in-store, I see this as an awesome alternate. If only they'd release the titles in my previous post on this thread.

Thanks for the input. I was curious what people's experience with the site was, so it's nice to hear good things.

Just placed my order. Glad to see we didn't have to wait five years again.

I'm glad WB hasn't given up on the series! Now, give me Mama's Family and I'll be super happy. :)

Sometimes oldies.com (http://www.oldies.com) has discounts on MOD titles. I've ordered from them before and they are reliable.

I placed my order this afternoon as well. I would also love to see Mama's Family completed on MOD.

Good to hear this! I bought Season 1 forever ago and just watched it today. I don't think I'll be buying any more seasons but instead will get them from Netflix or watch online.

Just received my Season 3 DVD set in the mail. After a quick browse all episodes seem to be complete with most running a little over 24 minutes. A few run a little shorter, but I'm assuming they are complete as well. Aloha and The Obscure Objects of Our Desire are broken up into two parts for some reason but again they seem to be complete at 24 minutes for each part. Aloha even has a voice over from Alan Thicke before the credits plugging the hotel the cast and crew stayed at. Part 1 of Dance Fever has a reminder on screen before the closing credits asking viewers to tune in tomorrow at 8/7 Central for Part 2. How the West Was Won Part 1 has a reminder on screen asking viewers to tune in Tuesday Night for Part 2. Finally, Part 2 of How the West Was Won has Alan Thicke's voice over before the credits telling viewers to stay tune for more with Coach Lubbock (obviously referring to Just the Ten of Us).

Just want to add that the DVDs I received are actual pressed DVDs NOT DVD-R's. I'm assuming that WB made some pressed DVDs for the first run so if you want actual DVD's I'd order early because when this batch runs out they will probably start using DVD-Rs.

Thanks for mentioning this. While this show is not among my all-time favorites, I did order early just in case they were sending out pressed-discs to the early customers. They've been doing the same thing with ALICE.

That's cool that Season 3 is now available. :)

What's the difference between pressed dvds and the regular ones? I'm not sure I've heard dvds being referred to as pressed before.

The episodes play well. :) I noticed the dvd case doesn't close completely for some reason. It's a little odd.
