If you havent gotten The Captain and Tennille 1976 variety on DVD show I Highly recommend it!!!

I loved The Captain and Tennille back in the day!!! I still have a few of their albums. Toni Tennille still tours, too.

Funny, but when I was a kid, I loved their version of "Shop Around". I didn't know it was a cover, though!!!

There was also a joke on an episode of Friends, where Joey had won a boat in an auction, so he spent most of the episode dressed up as a captain. I think something was said to where Joey asked if this one person called, and Rachel said, "No, but you know who did call?" and Joey says "No, who?"and Rachel says "Tennille".:lol:

I absolutely LOVE the Captain and Tennille! I have been to a few of their concerts and used to have most of their albums. I wish they would release more of their music on CD's though. I really miss those awesome songs!

Love has kept them together!! :love:

Happy Anniversary! Loved their music back in the day, wish some of the oldie stations would play it again.
