On IMDb, somebody posted a link showing a video of Sierra McCormick auditioning for the part of the 2013 movie "Trust Me."

PS, that role instead went to Saxon Sharbino.

So what?
People have to audition for roles. Then directors/producers/casting committees make the decisions of who to cast in those roles. Why are you making such a big deal out of the fact that she auditioned?

Dude, she's a second banana on a Disney Channel sitcom who's auditioning for a very non-Disney type role... and she's good!

Oh, well, yeah, she's good. A lot of the "seconds" are very good.

Yeah, but you don't see as many of them taking on roles like this. Not that it never happens, of course (i.e.; Christy Carlson Romano in "Henry Fool.")
The point I was trying to make is that Sierra's acting goes far and beyond standard Disney fare, and it's clear by this failed audition that she wants to take on grittier roles... and will prove herself well worthy of those roles.

Sierra is a good actress all around, but she's best at comedic stuff. She could go really far with that.
