So, how gullible are you?

I used to be really gullible, but over the years I've grown to be more skeptical. When I was little, my older sister told me that there was an Invisible Bunny that lived in her room. She told me that I had to race that bunny to clean her room before the bunny did. I cleaned her room so many times! She'd be sitting on her bed yelling, "Oh, put away that shirt before the Invisible Bunny does!" Jeez, I was pretty stupid. LOL She and my brother also told me that I was adopted (I'm not) and my name was really Cancun Rose (It's not) I was so upset! My sister also told me that, if I got my old tie-dye T-shirt wet, all of the colors would run off onto my skin and I'd become tie-dye. (She told me this after I'd just run through the sprinkler.) I also believed her when she told me that little, tiny people lived inside the heater vents in our old station wagon... Okay, enough stories of how pathetically gullible I was when I was little...

I'm not gullible, but I was when I was little. My brother got
me to clean his room by asking me to keep him company and nonchalantly telling me to put stuff away. hehe. I didn't fall
for it again, though.

I think most little kids are a bit gullible when an older kid tells them something. When I was about 6 years old, I walked to the bus stop with my neighbors who were older. Every time we walked by a sewer drain they would tell me not to get too close because there were alligators living down there. Then they would throw rocks down the drain and tell me the sound I heard was the alligator's jaws snapping, when it was really just the rocks hitting the bottom. I was completely terrified  of the sewer for months until my mom told me they were just teasing.

Nowadays I am only occasionally gullible, not nearly as much as I used to be.

Not terribly. Especially about commercials. Trust me, once you take an advertising class and they show you all the ins and outs of making a commercial, you'll never trust them again!

I've never been particularly gullible but I'm a lot more cynical now than I've ever been. People whom I've really trusted have messed me around too many times so now I realise it's best to be distrustful of everyone - that way you're never gonna be let down by them.

I'm not half as gullible as I use to be.

I'm not gullible at all. I usually don't believe a lot of things.
