WhatCulture has already talked about a few shows that have jumped the shark or should have quit while they were ahead here (http://whatculture.com/tv/10-tv-shows-that-totally-jumped-the-shark.php) and here (http://whatculture.com/tv/5-tv-shows-that-totally-outstayed-their-welcome.php). So consider this an ongoing series of shows that aren’t necessarily shows that should have been cancelled but more shows that became victims of their own success or shortcomings.

The early seasons of these shows are what made them what they are today, which unfortunately is usually just a shallow imitation of their early years. Perhaps you could split these series up like Law & Order; one half is the set up for all that made these shows great, and the second half is the semi-lame reason why some people just consider these shows ‘okay’.

I understand there logic but I dont think Friends should be number 1. They had some funny episodes in the last season that were funny including the one with Danny Devito playing a stripper.

Times are a-changing and so is television, folks. And if you leave it up to television station bosses, whatever makes money will stay on and play itself out no matter how lame the shows get, how many people voice concerns, complaints, or basically say they’re bored. But the following shows truly need to wrap it up. They’ve lost their spark, what made them funny, interesting, and even informative. Check out the following choices and see if you agree. And of course, a majority of the shows are reality TV. But what else do you expect, that’s all we’re getting on our televisions!
