Less than a day after it was announced that the second series of Kiefer Sutherland’s ‘Touch’ was to be the last because FOX had axed the show, former 24 executive producer David Fury spoke on twitter about his next project and in doing so confirmed the rumour that 24 was returning as a limited series. In reply to a follower he also revealed that the intention is for the series to consist of twelve episodes.
As this article was being drafted, it’s actually now been confirmed that Kiefer Sutherland’s Jack Bauer will return for 24: Live Another Day, a ninth series of the show that will air next summer.
It has been three years this month since season eight aired its final episode. So with the promise of a new look, shorter series nine on the horizon, here are the ten best moments from the previous eight seasons.
