Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone Join "American Horror Story: Coven"

Angela Bassett and Patti LuPone are joining the cast of "American Horror Story: Coven", the witch-themed third chapter of FX’s hit spookfest.

There's no word on who Bassett and LuPone will be playing on the series, which will center on a group of witches in its third season.



AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the news on Twitter early Sunday.

"Two legends are joining the cast of American Horror Story: Coven -- Oscar nominee Angela Bassett and Tony winner Patti LuPone!"
