View Full Version : I have a crush on my boss!
Janice Johnson 05-11-2013, 06:41 PM  My boss is one of the finest men I have seen in my life. He is nice and sweet, too boot. He is so manly, handsome, and tall that he makes me swoon. But, he is married and has two kids, and his wife works in the area. I am not trying to get beat up by her or get fired by trying to hit on him. It's so torturing to want my boss!

Go find someone else
Janice 05-11-2013, 07:58 PM He is totally off limits, so before you make a fool of yourself or lose your job, get yourself occupied with someone or something else.
Frump 05-11-2013, 08:50 PM I'm glad you have a boss who is nice and sweet :)
I've had a few bosses I'd like TO CRUSH in my time lol

Are you going to be profiled on Discovery Channel's "Deadly Women"?
Just the fact that you posted this proves you are a weirdo.

Hey, having a crush on someone off limits doesn't make me a weirdo!

Posting creepy comments about it does.

Do you still work at Walgreen's? If so then ask for a transfer to another location if there's another one in your area. If not then seek employment elsewhere as this will only get worse if you don't distance yourself from this man. Sooner or later you will probably get careless and drop a hint and that could very well get you fired. IIRC, you're in your early 20's, if so then you have your whole life ahead of you and there's plenty of nice eligible young and unmarried men out there so do your boss and yourself a favor and forget about it and move on.
Retro4Life 05-11-2013, 10:59 PM Well, regardless of the logic or lack thereof of the OP feelings, I think there are a few posters in this thread that need to re-read the forum rules, particularly those involving personal attacks on other members. Isn't it possible to express your feelings without being so rude and insulting?
And yes, I KNOW I'm not a moderator but I think I have the ability to express my opinion, regardless.
TVFactFan 05-11-2013, 10:59 PM Ok I will admit I am attracted to my supervisor but I would never act on it instead it just makes it easier going to work.
The OP is sounding like she is thinking about telling the boss:crazy:

Saying someone's post is stupid is not a personal attack

How about calling them a "weirdo" and saying they need psychiatric help?

He said it to me not the poster
dakert 05-11-2013, 11:53 PM There were a few hotties where I work but most of them have moved on <whew>
A hottie at the local Giant Eagle but so far just kinda fantisizing.
Janice 05-12-2013, 12:56 AM He said it to me not the poster
Doesn't meant who it was said to, it's still a personal attack. Retro4Life is right, there's no need to be insulting.
Family Ties Forever! 05-12-2013, 03:42 AM I agree with the others. Try to find someone else. Your boss isn't the right person to have feelings for. You mind find him cute, but it wouldn't be worth ever telling him or acting on it. You could lose your job or worse. I agree that you might want to try and find another job.
There were a few male teachers that I thought were cute when I was in school, but that was it. I never did or said a word to them. They were too old, I didn't want them and it would have been wrong.
Janice Johnson 05-12-2013, 07:51 AM I implied that I wouldn't tell my boss about my crush on him.

That's good just be careful even an innocent comment could get you in trouble with your employer, it's ok to have a crush on someone as long you are realistic about it and don't do anything unwise.

Oh ok, I thought only if it was a directly sent to someone it was a personal attack.
Janice Johnson 05-12-2013, 05:46 PM I'd be an idiot to tell him my feelings for him with his wife and mother of his children working in the same area as us.
