(The Washington Capitals beat the NY Rangers 2-1.)

(Ralph & Ed just watched the game at the Raccoon Lodge.)

Ed: "What a bad game. The Rangers let that one get away."

Freddie Muller: "Yeah Ralph, looks like your wish of seeing the Rangers meet the Islanders in the third round just got worse."

Ralph: "Well, Freddie it's still only three games. Both the Rangers and and Islanders still have a chance. New York deserves to have both teams in the third round and have one team go to the Stanley Cup."

Ed: "If I won a cup like that, I would take it down the sewer with me."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Freddie: "You know, being a hockey player is a lot harder than it looks. I watched a special on HBO just last September about the New York Rangers. It was very entertaining."

Ralph: "Well, I can bet that the coach is really angry at the Rangers right now and who could blame him? I know that I can't. The Rangers had one goal and they let it slip away."

Ed: "Hey, I got an idea. When one of those teams wins the cup, we should make them honorary Raccoons. They would love it. Hey, maybe we can convince the NHL to let them wear the Raccoon caps on the ice while playing."

(Ralph rolls his eyes.)

Ralph: "I am going to watch the Rangers win game 6 on Mothers Day after our fishing trip. Alice wanted me to go with her to her blabbermouth of a mother's house. I said no. We are all going to sneak out."

Ed: "What are we going to do when we get home and have to face our wives?"

Ralph: "We will tell them that we are the Kings and they are nothing."

Ed: "And what happens Ralph when the rest of the building can't get to sleep because of you and Alice arguing?"

Ralph (yells): "LET'S GO HOME! SEE YA FREDDIE!"

Freddie: "Bye you two."

(Freddie laughs.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
