TNT Pulls the Plug on "Monday Mornings"

TNT has opted not to renew the hospital drama "Monday Mornings" for a second season — news that comes on the heels of the cabler’s longer-running "Southland" getting the hook.

Jennifer Finnigan, who played "Monday Mornings" doc Tina Ridgeway, was among those who shared the bad news on Friday afternoon, via Twitter:

"Sadly, @tntweknowdrama has decided to cancel #MondayMornings . Some things just don't make sense. Thanks to all the fans. So grateful for u!"

never heard of the show, but man Mondays can be a drag - I don't know why you'd want to name a show after such a bummer, who'd want to watch that?

If only the ACTUAL Monday mornings could be cancelled so easily! ;)
