I get them once in a great while, but when I do, they kill. Especially when I drink anything acidy. Like orange juice

I get them if I drink orange juice, too. I try to stay away from that drink as much as possible. I have gotten cold sores on the roof of my mouth everytime I got a cold. Even as far back as 5 or 6 years old. I'm used to having them now, but back when I was little they were so bad I didn't feel like talking for days.

Has anyone heard of Kanka? It's a medication to treat canker sores. I found out about it last weekend when I went to the drugstore to see if they had any medicine for canker sores, and they did. Just thought I'd pass this along since it's a great medication and really works. I began using it Saturday and by Wednesday, the canker sores were completely gone.

A small, shallow sore inside the mouth or at the base of the gums.
Unlike a cold sore, a canker sore doesn't occur on the lips and isn't contagious.
The main symptom is a painful sore in the mouth that can make it hard to eat and talk.
Most canker sores clear on their own in one to two weeks. Treatments, if needed, include mouth rinses, pastes, and medication.

I used to get them super bad. Cycle and stress related. A Dermatologist can inject something to heal them but can also prescribe a medication to help dry them up faster.

They decrease with age. Thankfully!

Orajel has worked well for a family member of mine, a good brand of Antiseptic Rinse to try:
