Hi everyone. I'm new here. I've known of this forum for a long time though.

There's a case that's always stuck in my head, but I only saw it once when I was younger and I only remember a few details about it.

From what I remember, I'm pretty sure it was this guy's birthday. At least a couple other people were with him, though I don't remember if they were relatives or just friends. It was at night and I think he decided to go sit outside on the porch when he was shot. His relatives/friends came outside to check on him, I don't remember if they heard a popping sound or not, and they found that he was dead.

Ring a bell to anyone? I'm certain this was a case because it unnerved me quite a bit when I was younger. I guess because I used the stay up late at night (well, I still do) and the idea of getting shot like that really bothered me for some reason.

I've tried to find it on the UM wiki with no luck, so I'm hoping someone here will know which case it is.

This is the case I thought of when I read your description. Is it the one you're looking for?

The victim is Trent DiGiuro. He was shot while out on his front porch during a birthday party. According to that article, America's Most Wanted did a segment on the case.

I remember seeing Trent DiGiuro case on AMW, but it was never featured on UM. Hence no sign of it at UM wiki (if that's the case you're thinking of).

I'm pretty sure that is it! Thanks!

Yeah, that would explain it. I never watched AMW much though, just a few times, and in fact, I don't recall any other segments from it. All of the other segments I've wondered about from when I was younger I've been able to identify with the wiki and the unmentionable site, so that's why I thought it must be a UM segment too. Thanks.
