That's cool- I love "The Incredible Hulk" and all the episodes. This is one of the best live action TV show versions of superheroes ever! (Even if it wasn't terribly true to the comics in everything- I still love it.):)

I liked the episode too. It was a good McGee episode and I think Markie Post and Jack Colvin played off each other quite well.

The First was my favorite, except I wish they would've had that cop let the two hulks finish their own fight instead of shooting Del Frye's hulk. Another good one was Homecoming because we got to see Banner reuniting with his family who thought he'd passed away, but the credits short-changed us because they left out one. They covered who one of the younger actors was that played young David Banner, and I'm guessing Reed Diamond played the child David Banner, but there was another one that wasn't covered. I've tried Google, asking Stanley Martin Lieber in an email, and emailing Kenneth Johnson; and they won't say who the other younger actor was that played David Banner. I'm talking about the one who played him as a young adult when he was talking to his dad about what he wanted to do as far as college and making a living went. Who was that? I bet there isn't an Incredible Hulk fan who wishes he could gain super strength by being doused with gamma radiation instead of it having a fatal effect.

Yeah, I'd hate to see a fake bear get hurt.

The Beast Within with Dabs Greer was pretty good. He's gone now, but I bet he's remembered for playing Reverend Alden from Little House on the Prairie. It's strange how he went from being a good wholesome person to an evil villain who was not only guilty of illegally exporting animals from Africa but also trying to kill Banner. The fight with the gorilla was cool too. I'm pretty sure both the gorilla and that grizzly bear were people in animal suits, but they sure made the mannerisms look realistic.

This board is becoming a dead zone for Hulk fans. Does nobody not care enough about the Hulk to contribute?

"Proof Positive" (from season three) is my all-time favorite episode of "The Incredible Hulk." Jack Colvin was excellent, as usual, as harried and world-weary tabloid journalist Jack McGee. Even with the all-too-obvious absence of Bill Bixby, "Proof Positive" is still a pretty watchable episode.

"Proof Positive" provided viewers with a rare glimpse into McGee's personal and professional life...Colvin's chemistry with guest star Caroline Smith--playing Patricia Steinhauer, the daughter of the publisher of McGee's tabloid newspaper, the National Register--was excellent; it's unfortunate that Smith never appeared in subsequent episodes as a recurring character.

It's too bad Colvin never received another solo episode...it would've been interesting to see McGee and Patricia Steinhauer traveling around the country investigating one Hulk sighting after another while developing romantic feelings towards each other; hell, it was even hinted at the conclusion of "Proof Positive" that McGee and Patricia would become a couple, but it was not to be.

Good night!

McGee should be brought back in the new series. Sure Lou Ferrigno and Bill Bixby did a lot of work as far as stunts and acting, but Jack Colvin had a way of stealing the show. I always thought Banner was a jerk when it came to dealing with Jack McGee because it wouldn't have killed him to give him an interview before the Hulk became known.
Take care and God bless

"Prometheus" and "The First" were both superb...in fact, those two episodes were definitely among the highlights of an otherwise uneven fourth season.

Thank you for commenting, Irelan! Jack Colvin's performance as McGee was (and still is) vastly underrated...it's unfortunate that Colvin never became a household name, unlike Bixby and Ferrigno.

Those were my two favorites. There were a lot of great ones from the pilot episode to death in the family to the Hawaii two part episode. I also enjoyed the episode where David loses his memory, the episode with David being paralyzed and the episode where the Hulk gets electric shock.....

There are two episodes that I wish I could find out how they managed to make as far as filming goes. In the episode Jake where Banner's working at a rodeo, they made viewers believe that Lou Ferrigno is strong enough to wrestle a bull down. Were they able to train that bull to submit to him and let him win? That might explain that one, but it doesn't explain Prometheus part one where Banner turned into the Hulk the first time because of he was being attacked by bees because there's no way you can train them to back off. If it was filmed in a modern day episode, a person would explain that as CGI; but they didn't have CGI when Bixby and Ferrigno were doing their show; and they made it look like the bees were on the faces both actors who were technically playing the same person. I've seen two rattlesnake snake bite episodes; and unless they were more lenient back then about letting people remove the venom glands from them, which is considered a form of animal cruelty now, the only thing I can think of is that they switched snakes in between times when they'd stop the camera and substituted for one that can resemble a rattlesnake or put the rattle of a real one on a fox snake, which resembles a diamond back and is known to shake the tail. Herpetology is one of my on and off hobbies.
Take care and God bless
