It wasn't harsh at all in my opinion. Urkell was totally honest with Myra. He never lied to her. He told her that his heart belonged to Laura and that if she ever showed him any interest, it would be the end of their relationship. Myra was willing to accept those terms. So there was nothing sneaky going on there.

In all fairness though, Steve did calm down a bit about Laura for a couple of years, after he actually decided to go steady with Myra. If only he could have forgotten about that snooty Laura and stayed with Myra... :(

Yeah steve new laura would feel more interested in him after he forgets about her, i think their is a episode where laura calls steve urkel over to her house so she can talk to him because she haven't seen him in a week because he is to busy spending time with myra.
