I personally don't care for them in threads like this but I did say optional so it's fine.

I dunno if an admiral is an occupation though....

It's a military occupation so it would definitely count.

Doctor My Eyes - Jackson Browne

Just a question about this. From the context, it seems that the profession here (doctor) is being used as a verb rather than a noun. Should such instances really count for this game? I realize though that the verb reflects back to its alternate status as a noun, in order to shed light and meaning on the verb, so I can see it being allowable in that sense.

"Sweet Transvestite"- Richard O'Brien (from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show"- conceivably, this could refer to professional crossdressers) [Note: I haven't seen the movie and don't care to- so I'm not endorsing it, but I have heard of this song before from commercials, etc. The same goes for the profession, for that matter.]

And while I'm already on this track-

"Prostitute" by Guns 'N' Roses (the same applies from the previous song.)

[By the way, not trying to be gratuitous or anything- but if the list is to be complete, those are possible songs that could qualify-and for whatever reason, the first one just came to mind as a possibility.....)

Anyway- back to less lurid jobs-

Is "Dental Care" by Owl City close enough for the purposes of this game?

The title mentions an occupation and I gave no stipulations that it had to be in the forum of a noun, verb or whatever. Do you see any other replies that you want to nitpick about?

"Doctor"in this title is being used as a noun not a verb. The person is telling the doctor about his problem with his eyes. He is asking the doctor what is wrong with his eyes. Just thought that I'd clear this up!:D

Okay- thanks for the clarification.:)

No. And I wasn't trying to nitpick. I was just a bit confused. So I gather that any mention of an occupation in some form is acceptable then. Okay. Thanks.:)
