(The NY Rangers beat the Washington Capitals 4-3.)

(Ralph just heard the news on ESPN.)

Ralph: "Wow, those Rangers have stopped the Capitals Alice."

Alice: "I may not care that much as you do Ralph. But, I am glad that you are happy."

(Ed comes down.)

Ed: "Hello Alice! Hello Ralph! I just heard the news Ralph. The Rangers won."

Ralph: "Yes, thanks a lot Alice. You know, I was a player in hockey. Do you know what nickname they called me?"

Alice: "'Big Fat Goalie.'"

(Ed laughs.)

Ralph (yells): "SHUT UP!"

Ed: "Hey Ralph, maybe the Rangers will conquer the odds and beat the Caps."

Ralph: "Maybe? Conquer the odds? Are you kidding Norton? Are you that stupid? Those Rangers are too good for the Caps. Even if they are down three games, the Rangers have an edge. Do you know what it is? Do you two know what it is?"

Alice: "No Ralph, we don't know. What is the edge?"

Ralph: "Do you really want to know the edge?"

Alice: "Yes."

Ralph: "Do you really want to know the edge?"

Ed: "Yes."

Ralph: "The edge? Okay, I will tell you."

Alice: "Go ahead and tell us."

Ralph: "Why should I tell you? All I know is the Rangers have it in the bag or more precisely, in the goal. Ha ha ha."

Ed: "Well, I have something to tell you Ralph."

Ralph: "What is that?"

Ed: "I think that the Caps will win."

Ralph (yells): "YOU WILL GET A FEELING RIGHT UNDER YOUR CHIN NORTON!"

(Ed leaves.)

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "Thank you. GOOD NIGHT!"

(Audience cheers.)
