I have a Toshiba Laptop computer. I bought it in 2011. Well once in a while, (within the last several months), I will be on the internet and it will scramble up for 2 seconds, then a message on the bottom of the screen will say: display driver AMD has stopped and has been fully recovered. Then a few seconds later, the laptop will go black and restart itself. Then this happens: it will give you the option of starting up normal or another option. I start it up normally and then its fine.

Sounds like its telling you what it is. The display driver is probably defective and when you overwork it, it shuts down. If you do allot of video streaming, that can put a strain on the display driver. I had that problem with Gateway laptop once. I just sold it for parts. I am not suggesting you do that, that's what I did.

it would be worth going to the Toshiba website and seeing if there is a newer version of the display driver you can download and install, if not just try to uninstall & reinstall the display driver
the other thing it might be is a heat-related issue; when it is working hard, the video chips will get hot and could be acting up - make sure your vent fans aren't clogged up with dust, see if you cn find the proper way to blow out the fans for your model online
