Probably between 1993-1996 when it was Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Step by Step and Hangin' with Mr. Cooper.

Yeah 1993-1996 TGIF had shows you could sit down for hours and enjoy without flipping the channel

1989-1991 and 1993-1996.

The worst may be 1996-2002...or whenever it ended.

1987-1992. Full House, Perfect Strangers, and Family Matters.

The 4th slot I cannot remember what it was at that time though. I just loved those three as a kid from like 3-5 years old.

EDIT: Oh, Step by Step was on TGIF for one of those years. It was freaking great too.

Once they moved PS and FH I watched Step By Step and Family Matters but never bothered with Boy Meets World. I didn't like it as a kid.

Oh, Just the Ten of Us was another great sitcom on TGIF at that time. But, I've only remembered catching it in reruns. But, like I said. The lineup from 87-92 had some dang good shows.

I like Family Matters in the 1990s and George Lopez & 8 Simple Rules in the 2000s.

It's Friday night and the mood is right. Gonna have some fun, show you how it's done.....T.G.I.F.!!

Ahhhhh, the good ole days! Every Friday night I was glued to my TV for those very special 2 hours. I always felt like I was in my comfort zone while watching these shows. I was like a kid on vacation. I'll agree with most people here that the mid 90s were the best years. FM, BMW, SBS, & HWMC

Sabrina & Clueless were also favorites of mine. Odd Man Out and Teen Angel were underrated, IMO, and I think they would've worked better now on the Disney Channel. Brother's Keeper, to me, was a cleaned up family version of Two and a Half Men.

I wish all these shows would hurry up and be released on DVD so I can relive my childhood. I'll pop in a FM or BMW episode and I can almost remember being in school that Friday morning wishing 8pm would hurry up and come so I could watch "my shows".
