(The NY Knicks won the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, 4 games to 2, by beating the Boston Celtics 88-80.)

(Ralph just got the news on the radio at home.)

Ralph (yells): "OH BABY! OH BABY! THE KNICKS JUST LAST NIGHT WON A PLAYOFF ROUND FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2000."

(Ed comes down.)

Ed: "Hey Ralph-ie boy!"

(Audience cheers.)

Ed: "Looked like the Knicks were going to blow it. They didn't."

Ralph: "Yes, and now they get to go Pacers. Hopefully, they and the Nets will win two rounds and fulfill our dream of seeing a Knicks/Nets third round."

Ralph: "The Knicks will be energized. After all, the Knicks just finished a grueling six game series while the Pacers beat an easy team in the lowly Atlantic Hawks.

Ed: "Well, it might not be that easy Ralph."

Ralph: "Why do you say that Norton?"

Ed: "It's the truth Ralph. Boy, I remember all those times the Knicks didn't win a playoff series and not to mention that they came so close and lost and not to mention all the other times the other teams made them look foolish and made them look like a team that several years ago like one of the worst of the NBA. Worse than the Chicago Horribulls even."

Ralph (yells): "GET OUT! GEEEEEEEEEEEET OUT!"

(Jackie Gleason walks on stage. Audience applauds.)

Jackie: "How sweet it is!"

(Audience cheers.)

Jackie: "The Miami Beach audiences are the best. Good night everyone."

(Audience cheers.)
