#57. Why We Love Alison Brie
According to IMDB, Alison Brie's first role was as Toto in a production of The Wizard of Oz at a South California Jewish community centre. But... Toto was a dog, right? Weird. Perhaps they put her in a tiny dog-suit.
Anyway. Brie soon graduated to working as a professional clown, which goes some way towards healing our abiding fear of clowns. (Although, even a sexy, Alison Brie-shaped clown is still kinda terrifying.)
Brie ditched the clown make-up and hit the big time playing a pair of uptight and innocent (but undeniably sexy) characters in two of the most acclaimed TV shows of the last few years: Trudy Campbell in "Mad Men", and Annie Edison on "Community".
Of highly-strung sex-bomb Annie, Brie commented that, “She’s like a schoolgirl you want to be naughty with. You know: What is under the blouse that’s buttoned up so high?”
Goodness gracious, eh? Goodness gracious.
