Does anyone else have anyone on them? I believe I currently have three, and one of those folks doesn't even post here anymore.

I don't like to add anyone to them, but occasionally someone comes along that just irritates and frustrates me so much I would honestly just as soon not see their posts. These posts often compel me to post back, the person is usually not open to discussion and thus won't be swayed or affected by anything I say, and is just generally negative and rude. I come here to relax and enjoy some free time; I can get aggravation anywhere else.

I don't mind reasoned and polite debate, of course. But with some folks, it's just impossible.

Anybody else?

I have never put anyone on any forum I post at on ignore. I have a pretty thick skin.

I would never put anyone on an ignore list. You can always ignore a comment here or there that someone posts, but I figure it's better to let everyone have their say.

I have...but It's for the ones that either make things into an argument and say...concluded...or is acting like a jerk to me.

Oddly...it can be both and sometimes their name will be off the ignore list, give it time.

I've used it from time to time. The only one I have currently on my ignore list is someone who doesn't even post here but he kept pm'ing me constantly about stupid stuff. It's the only way I could stop him.

I don't have anyone on ignore. Like some others said above, I believe everyone should be heard and I can always choose not to respond to something if it bothers me.

Thankfully, I've never been harassed here or anywhere else.

I haven't used it in a long time, but I use to get private messages from someone that wanted me to send them screenshots of different TV stars feet. I blocked 3 or 4 people, but I'm pretty sure it was the same person using different names.

I guess the folks I've added could honestly be termed "trolls". And while I agree in principle that everyone has a right to be heard, for me there is the occasional poster that comes along and posts enough for me to realize this person is going to do nothing but start trouble. All the time I spend wading through posts like those is less time I can spend on reasonable posts.

I had to put two people on the ignore list. I tried to be tolerant, but I couldnt take it anymore.
