It seems like it would make more sense for Archie to be a conservative democrat.

I know SOCIALLY he had a lot in commun with republicans, but fiscally you'd think he would have been a democrat.

The Bunker family was lower middle class, and Archie always acted outraged with how prices were soring and all, you'd think he would have voted democrat, since democrats usually like to help the lower class a little more.

There are actualyl quite a few of conservative democrats *and liberal republicans I guess* My grandma was very conservative but also VERY much a democrat.
