"Worst News Ever": Kelly Osbourne Mourns Death of Childhood Dog
by Lauren Flannery
April 29, 2013
Kelly Osbourne took to Twitter yesterday (April 28) to mourn the loss of one of her childhood dogs, Maggie.
"Woke up to the worst news ever! I can't stop crying! It really is an end of an era RIP Maggie!!! #TheOsbournes"
The news came as quite a shock to 28-year-old Kelly as she is currently sunning it up in Sydney, Australia with fiancée Matthew Mosshart.
Described as “thoroughly spoilt” by 60-year-old mum Sharon, Maggie was known to have been both deaf and almost completely blind towards the end of her 16-year life. TV presenter Sharon took to her official website to pay homage to the family dog.
She wrote: “You would liken Maggie to a Duchess. She is very regal and answers to no one. She is very particular who she shows affection to, usually it's just Ozzy.”
During the filming of their infamous reality TV show "The Osbournes", it was well known that the family are keen for canines and despite the death of their Japanese Chin Maggie, they're still the owners of a whopping 12 pets.
This includes the adorable pomeranian Mr Chips that Sharon seems to have a particular fondness for as she is regularly spotted out with him.
The news is just the latest in a run of bad luck for the family. Recently Ozzy Osbourne publicly acknowledged he'd fallen off the wagon and had abused drugs and alcohol for an 18 month period, but was now working through his issues.
