I feel like mr drummond was trying to buy willis and arnolds effection in the 1st season in the pilot episode he bought them hundreads of toys and a pony what the heck lol, does anyone else get the thought that drummond was trying to use bribery to get his 2 new sons to like him as their new rich father ?

I dont think he was trying to bribe them. I just think he was trying to make them feel welcomed and he didnt know how to unless it was buying them stuff like that.

Mr Drummond should have known that they would not have an interest in toys at the moment after they just lost their mother a few days ago.

Arnold had PLENTY of interest in all the toys! Arnold was completely thrilled at everything Mr. Drummond did to WELCOME them. It was Willis and ONLY Willis who had the problem.

Mr. Drummond was not trying to "bribe" the boys. He was always well intentioned and he only wanted to make a welcoming home for the boys.

Arnold was 8 years old he was just happy to have toys he would not no the meaning of the word, now willis was 13 years old and a teenager he would think drummond would bribe them he does not seem interested in the toys like his brother no matter what drummond did for him in the first episode it was not good enough for willis.
