Men are different than women—we get it. We certainly don’t need Tim Allen to tell us this for over 20 years. But since Allen is so insistent, the least he could do is present the conflict between the sexes in an interesting way. But apparently he’s satisfied with telling us little known facts like "men watch sports and women usually don’t." Very insightful stuff. Oh, and just to spice things up, sometimes he’ll throw in a joke about tools or cars just to drag the IQ of the room down a little further.
And because the television gods are cruel and merciless, Allen has been a fixture on ABC for about two decades while starring in two separate sitcoms: Home Improvement, and his current snoozer Last Man Standing. What are both shows about? You guessed it: the differences between men and women.
