Hi, everyone.
I live in the Midwest.
About two months ago, I won a trip to Los Angeles to attend the
"Iron Man 3" Hollywood premiere. Now, my understanding is that, at a Hollywood premiere, all attendees (celebrities and some regular people lucky enough to be invited) sit inside the same theater and mingle with each other.
Well, I traveled 2000 miles to attend the premiere. At the premiere, I and the winners of other contests were relegated to Grauman's Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, while all the celebrities went inside the El Capitan Theater across the street.
Is it a common practice to hold a Hollywood premiere in multiple theaters, having the celebrities in one theater and relegating "lesser", second-tier individuals like contest winners to other theaters?
Or are most premieres limited to just one theater?
Thank you for any information.
