"The Office" Confirms Finale Guest Stars

Steve Carell said he wouldn’t return to "The Office" for the series finale, and now we know for sure he won’t. NBC today revealed the guest stars and a bit about the storyline for May 16′s one-hour series ender.

According to the storyline: Months after the airing of the documentary, the workers of Dunder Mifflin, past and present, gather for a wedding and a final round of interviews. Mysteries are solved, hatchets are buried, pranks are prunked.

This makes me sad, because I am a fan of the show and unlike most of you, have mostly enjoyed the post Steve Carrell era. I wanted The Farm to work also, just to continue the Dwight Schrute character.

I dunno why Carrell is not doing the final episode, maybe he is busy with other projects. I do think if he did have the time, he should do the episode as a thanks to the show that boosted his career.

But, there was nine years, and I own the first six seasons on DVD.

This makes me sad, because I am a fan of the show and unlike most of you, have mostly enjoyed the post Steve Carrell era. I wanted The Farm to work also, just to continue the Dwight Schrute character.
