Gwyneth Paltrow Named World's Most Beautiful Woman for 2013

Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the world's most beautiful woman for 2013 in People's annual list of, well, beautiful famous ladies.

"When I first heard that I was going to be on the cover of People's most beautiful issue, I honestly thought someone was playing a joke on me and I had to reread the email three times," the 40-year-old said in a behind-the-scenes video about the photo shoot.

"I was like, 'This can't be true.'"





Paltrow, who's had two kids with hubby Chris Martin, is mostly glad to be out of her 20s.

"I feel my most beautiful when I am truly myself, meaning, when I accept exactly where I am in time and space and I'm not judging myself in any way, and I feel that i have the peace that comes with loving yourself and all of your flaws," she said.



She said her definition of beauty has changed from "Barbie doll" to seeing how "beauty really does ... emanate from within."

"When you sit with somebody who has true wisdom and true insight, they all of a sudden look physically very beautiful."



Last year's honor went to singer Beyoncé.

People Magazine irks me anyway with what they choose to put on their cover. During all the Boston bombing coverage, they chose to put Trisha Yearwood on the cover and how she lost 30 lbs. Big freaking deal!!! She isn't the only woman in this world to lose 30 lbs!! Not to mention that, hey, one of our cities was attacked. AGAIN!!!! The story of the bombings was one of the side stories on the cover. Apparently, their priorities and opinions are a whole lot different than alot of ours.

It would be better if the people would not buy their magazine when they put this junk out and send them a message. You begin to wonder sometimes if People is being paid off to make their decision.
