:eek: Has it really been a year since "Angel de Dolores" was posted by Mariposa. It sure hasn't felt like it. It will also be one year in March that I became a member of this board. Where does the time go, huh? :rolleyes:
First, I want to thank Mariposa for her wonderful start to all the fun. All of her stories have helped me to keep Freddie alive in my heart, but Angel has a special place. Besides it being such a terrific story, it helped inspire me to launch "Salvation". It seems silly now, looking back, that I was so nervous that I felt I needed to post it under an asumed name (Dulcinea) but I am touched by all the wonderful feed back I have gotten for that story as well as my others.
Next, I want to thank my sister authors for all of their wonderful contributions to the fan fiction site. :typing: I always enjoy reading the latest installments of your stories! Keep em coming! :dance:
I also want to thank the readers.... our stories would mean nothing without you all reading and telling us that you enjoy them.:clap:

Thanx Luckymama for your kind words about Angel--but to be honest, I have been struggling for months now to figure out how far into the future to take this story. I had envisioned taking it up to the present day--it began in the mid-1980's--but I don't know if I have that much of this story left in me! Ideas, yes, but nothing that I think would support a story covering about 15-20 years! So if anyone is getting impatient waiting for the next chapter, please forgive me and bear with me. Hopefully I will at least have that chapter finished by the one-year anniversary (or sometime in March anyway)!

Wow! I can't believe the fanfiction is a year old! Special thank you for Starshine for getting the fanfiction going with her time, effort and devotion in keeping Freddies memory alive! Who would of thought the story of Angel would of start the fire burning to keep the spirit of Freddie alive! There are so many talented authors in the fanfiction. I have enjoyed reading them all. Special thank you for Macca on her kind words reguarding Mera mami lind oyee! More chapters are ready to post. I'm almost finished with this dramatic story. I appreciate eveyones feed back and e-mail regarding this story also. I can't believe this story will be over soon!

To the readers, we have been graced with a fine gallery of writers. You are in for a terrific treat when you check out the Fan Fiction site. These authors will startle you with their keen sense and understanding of Freddie's heart. They will give you the feeling that they know your innermost romantic thoughts! :) There is something for everyone. I highly recommend any and all of the authors. Just take the time, curl up with their stories on a cold, wintry night. You will not be disappointed. (For that matter, it works on a warm, balmy night too.) Their work will take you to a place of romance, passion, intrigue, conflict, drama, and more. You will find answers there. I know I have. I can now wipe away the tears and find strength because I know Freddie's spirit lives on.

Please everyone, help to keep our dear Freddie's memory alive by taking the time to read these wonderful stories. He is up there just shaking his head, not believing how much he is still remembered and loved.

Oh wow, a yr since ANGEL? That means I've been into Freddie a yr & on here a yr! Wow! Hard to believe! ANGEL was the first CATM/Freddie fan fic I ever read as it was the first one out & It left me wanting to read more of it & more by more authors.

I'd love to write some fan fiction & have come up with some ideas for some. What is standing in my way from writing them is the fact that it would take me forever just to write one story & I wouldn't be able to handle all that typing on the puter. I do have a program on my puter where you can speak into your puters microphone & it will type out for you what you say. Unfortunately it's not perfected very well yet & when you speak in it it will sometimes misspell words. That means you have to go & correct lots of stuff. I couldn't try to dictate the stuff on audio cassette & then pay someone to transcribe it cuz it would cost me more than I could afford. Sigh... If only there were a machine you could hook up to your head/mind where it would read your mind & copy it down on your puter. I'd've had a novel by now...

The writers are all doing a great job! We can't wait to read more! :)

That said, it was pointed out to me that some of the stories' messageboards have been deleted by the server because they were inactive. :rolleyes2

This is frustrating, and I really apologize to all the authors who lost feedback because of this incident. Hopefully, they were saving the feedback!

At any rate, I have finally caved to the fates, and have submitted to "ezboard", despite a valiant battle over the years . . . ;)

The new board allows me to have one board, and then separate categories. This will help--hopefully--keep the inactive stories from having their feedback deleted, because you never know when someone new is going to pop in and read!

I am having a bit of a quandary here, as I am not sure if I should categorize by "Author" or "Title". Please, visit the new board at http://pub82.ezboard.com/bfreddieprinzesrfanfiction and let me know how you would like to see it set up. If no one votes by the end of the week, I will decide for myself. And I really don't want to do that . . . :D

Hi Starshine, I am going to cast my vote at this time. Thank-you again for giving us such an outstanding website.

Ok, the new FanFiction board(s) has been activated! The general consensus seemed to be to list the forums by Author (cripes! I just realized I left one out. I'll get it up as soon as I leave here!) Anyhoo, we'll start threads by title under the Author names. If you want to start a new thread instead of using one of the established ones, feel free, just make sure you include the title of the story you are commenting on!

Also, there is a "General" forum for any questions/comments that don't relate to a specific, "published" story. I've heard murmurs of other authors perhaps coming out of the closet . . . I hope to see new names up there soon! :)

I think, starting over with this new board, we have a wonderful opportunity to really get behind the authors, both present and future, and give them the encouragement and support they need.

Remember, we are only a few days away from the One Year Anniversary of the FanFiction, and there is something very special in store for that day! :D Details to come later . . .
