Would the episode from the first season would have been more realistic if peter did not have enough time from saving the girl from getting killed and he feels guilty and depressed for not saving her on time at the Toy Shop ?

Interesting idea but I doubt that would've gone over too well on The Brady Bunch.

Yeah i guess but maybe the little girl could have hurt her leg badly and she had to go to the hospital and peter is afraid to visit her out of fear.

That story would work well on a dramatic series (in fact there is an episode of the Waltons with a very similiar storyline involving Elizabeth and Jim-Bob) but not on a sitcom like the Brady Bunch. I'm sure Robert Reed would have agreed with your point though!!
