Jodie Sweetin wed her fiancé, Morty Coyle, in a private celebration in Beverly Hills, the former Full House star confirms. Make that really private – last month, the couple celebrated one year of marriage. "We had wanted to keep it quiet and intimate for a while, but felt that on our first wedding anniversary, it was time to share!" Sweetin tells PEOPLE.

The couple, who got engaged on the actress's birthday in January 2011, exchanged vows on March 15, 2012. "Our day was a wonderful, intimate celebration with each other and our families," she says. The wedding was officiated by Coyle's All Day Sucker bandmate and longtime songwriting partner Jordan Summers, and the ceremony was held at Summers's home with his wife, Tia,

Sweetin, 31, wore a tea-length Oleg Cassini dress. Her daughter Zoie (with ex-husband Cody Herpin), now 5, and the newlyweds' daughter Beatrix, now 2½, participated in the ceremony. After her surprise engagement, Sweetin told PEOPLE she was "thrilled," and noted that Coyle's proposal was the icing on the cake. "We were absolutely committed before this, anyway," she said. "We're just so excited."

Sweetin, who publicly reunited with her Full House castmates last year (Coyle deejayed at the event) is in talks for a movie of the week this winter, while Coyle is busy completing his third album with All Day Sucker. And while the actress looks back fondly on saying "I do," it's clear that marrying Coyle was just an official way to acknowledge her happiness. As she told PEOPLE in 2011, "I don't think anything in the world could be better than what I have."

Wow... She's getting a divorce only three months after the wedding? :eek: It's not like she didn't know the guy before the wedding either, as they have a two-year-old daughter together. So what's up with that?

^^^ With her having a child from another relationship already, it could have something to do with her oldest. To me, when a single parent is wanting to get married, they have to make sure that who they marry is going to be a good step parent to the children too. This is just my two cents of course. There are so many reasons why some marriages don't last and some do. :( :( :(

It seems to me that Jodie doesn't love herself very much and is looking for a man to "fix" her. Once he fails to meet expectations, then it's on to the next man.

Of course, I could be totally off when it comes to Jodie, but I've known or known OF women who have self-esteem so low that they look to a man to love them enough to "save" them. Of course, what human being could live up to expectations like that?

The fact that Jodie has a history of drug abuse and now is also a mother just makes the situation so much sadder and messier. Her TV sister, Candace Cameron Bure wrote a book a couple of years ago detailing how she overcame her issues with food and bouts with bulimia - and she realized she was using food as a salve to cover up her self-loathing. Their situations seem to mirror each other in a way. I'm no therapist, but I think most anyone can tell that there are serious issues here. For Jodie's sake and for the sake of her kids, I hope and pray that she gets help to learn to love HERSELF before pledging herself to yet another man.

I was in two car accidents in the span of a year and a half, so I can totally understand where your mom is coming from!! I hope she is OK!!

TMZ has learned, and a Toyota is on the line.

The "Full House" star filed legal docs in L.A. County, citing irreconcilable differences. She married Morty Coyle in March, 2012.

Jodie and Morty have a daughter, Beatrix, who is 2. Jodie wants full custody.

Jodie is also asking the judge to award her their 2000 Toyota Avalon. Jodie wants the judge to make her and Morty split their $200 Kohl's credit card balance.

It's Jodie's 3rd marriage.

Jodie has had her struggles. She's struggled with addiction -- in particular, meth, ecstasy and coke.

That's a shame that her third marriage didn't work out.

Jodie may be clean right now, I don't know, but with her history, would it be wise to give her full custody of the kid? Are Jodie's parents in the picture (or alive)? I've never heard of what her relationship with her folks is like.

^^^ I don't know why she got divorced from the cop that she was married to at one point, but the other two guys that she has been married to very well could have been the ones with problems. Yes, drugs are in Jodie's past, but that does not mean that they are in her present.

Jodi's first husband, the cop, didn't know she was using drugs.
That really does make you wonder how a cop could not be aware of his wife's drug usage.
Not long after Jodi overdosed, they divorced. It was after Jodi overdosed that she came back into the spotlight. Before that, you didn't hear about her like you did about Candace or the Olsen Twins.

As for Jodi's parent, she is adopted. She was adopted at about 9 months. Apparently her real parents were also drug addicts and her father was murdered in prison.
This was mentioned in the book Jodi wrote a few years back. I skimmed through it at a local Walmart.

Wow. I haven't read her book, so I didn't know any of that.

No way would I have paid for the book, since it was not long after Jodi admitted that the money she got from doing interviews went towards more drugs.
As long as the book was free though I was curious.

My local library has it, so maybe I'll read it that way and not have to pay for it!!

I loved her as Steph on FH, especially as she matured - she blossomed into a beautiful young lady. I have no idea what she's like in real life, though. Probably just as well to not find out.

I just picked up her book at the library. I have a couple of other books to read before I get to that one, but I'll give you my take here once I finish it.

"Full House" alum Jodie Sweetin is denying reports that she is back in rehab, insisting that she simply works at a rehab facility.

"I am absolutely NOT in rehab," the actress, who struggled with addictions to meth, ecstasy and cocaine for several years, told TMZ following reports that she had checked herself into a facility.

The child star, who played spunky middle sister Stephanie Tanner in the family sitcom, filed for separation in June from her third husband, Morty Coyle, and said she's living on the property of a Los Angeles rehab center where she's currently working. Sweetin told the site she is a clinical logistics coordinator for the facility and her employer has let her live in a studio apartment on the property while she deals with her split.

"I work for the center and they have been really generous in helping me with a place to stay as Morty wanted me out by the end of the month," Sweetin said. "The owners of the facility said I could stay here as I got things figured out."

The actress added that she'll no longer be pursuing full custody of her daughter Beatrix, 2, instead opting for joint custody so that Beatrix could have "both of her parents in her life."

Sweetin and Coyle tied the knot in March 2012 in a private Beverly Hills ceremony, but only announced that they were married a year later. Sweetin was previously married to Shaun Holguin from 2002 to 2006. She was married to Cody Herpin from 2007 until 2010. The couple had a daughter named Zoie together.

The mother of two chronicled her struggles with addiction in her 2009 memoir "unSweetined."

"I was a selfish, self-serving, insecure, angry and fearful person living a double life. I covered up my problems by pretending to be happy and saying that everything was fine," she wrote.
