Woman wanted police to make her husband leave

A Pennsylvania woman was cited after police said she called 911 seeking a divorce. The 42-year-old woman called just after 1 a.m. Saturday requesting officers be sent to her home in Girard Township to make her husband leave, The Associated Press reported. She also asked them for a divorce. The officers said a divorce is a civil matter, and they couldn't force her husband to leave because he hadn't committed any crime. Instead, police cited her for disorderly conduct for abusing the Erie County 911 system, according to the Erie Times-News.

My mother called the police when she couldn't find me in just a few hours. But she is 88, I don't know if that workes in her favor or not, but I thought it was stupid that she called, especially when I told her what I was doing and where I was going.
