Actor Frank Bank, best known as ‘Lumpy’ Rutherford on ‘Leave It To Beaver,’ died at 71 the day after his birthday.:(

Heard that he got out of acting because of being typecast as Lumpy, and went into financial advising--Jerry Mathers and other LITB cast members became some of his clients.

Great character, great show!

Good actor and a good man. He'll be missed. Will be watching my future LITB eps with The Lump in them with a certain tenderness. May he rest in peace.

sorry i didn't like leave it too beaver theirs on problem at the end of the show its fixed and everyone is happy thats why i don't like the brandy bunch then they made jokes i didn't think were funny i didn't get them i liked the hooney mooners snaford and son and i love lucy
